Choose a small backpack
I insist on this point quite often on the blog, but it is important!
By taking a big bag with you, you will be tempted to fill it with useless things. It's experience.
Sometimes I took a big bag for a trip and took away things I did not need, saying that stupid sentence we all know:
In the end, I never needed this business! They only made me heavier and stay in the bottom of my KAKA backpack.
A 45L bag that can extend to 10L is more than enough, moreover, it will allow you to travel without checked baggage!
Small color packs
This is the little tip in fashion among travelers, in any case, I notice more and more. Pack your belongings and underwear in colored or transparent packaging (like freezer bags for example). This will save you time when you will need to recover something quickly at the bottom of your bag or even in the dark.
Save space
You can save space in your bag by properly folding your belongings (see the video on the link), wrapping all your clothes and being careful to occupy every nook and cranny of your luggage. You can also save a lot of space by attaching large items to the outside of your cheap backpacks, such as your shoes, tents or sleeping bags.
Mix your clothes with your traveling companion
If you are traveling with a friend or a couple, it can be really wise to pack half of your clothes in your bag and half of your clothes in yours. In this way, if one of your bags would be lost or stolen, you will still have access to some of your clothes.
After traveling for a while you will become an expert. You will find that everything has a special place.
It was a big advantage for me one day when I had to book a bus in Thailand.
The departure time had changed and I had exactly seven minutes to pack my bag and go to the travel agency where my bus was waiting for me. Well, I was so fast that I even had time to buy a coke!
